1. Immediate cleaning after daily production
Disassembly of accessible parts: Remove the detachable components such as receiving hopper, vibration plate, weighing hopper, etc., and rinse them with food-grade brushes with warm water to remove residual particles.
Cavity blowing: through the compressed air interface that comes with the equipment, pulse blowing on the internal crevices and sensor surfaces that are not easy to access, to avoid the accumulation of materials with moisture caking.
2. Deep cleaning and disinfection (weekly / batch switching when)
Special cleaning agent wipe: use neutral detergent (such as non-phosphorus detergent) or equipment manufacturers specified cleaning agent, with a soft cloth to wipe the inner wall of the weighing hopper, track and drive device, prohibit the use of steel wire balls and other hard tools to avoid scratching.
Sterilization treatment: spray ** food-grade alcohol (75%)** or UV irradiation (if equipped with UV module) on food contact parts, focusing on corners, seals and other parts that are prone to microbial growth.
3. Maintenance of Mechanical Components and Exclusion of Foreign Objects
Inspection of transmission components: clean vibration motors, pulleys and other mechanical parts, remove entangled fibers, debris, to avoid the impact of foreign body jamming weighing accuracy.
Sensor calibration: recalibrate the load cell after cleaning (refer to the equipment operation manual) to ensure accurate measurement in the next production.
Precautions
Before cleaning, be sure to disconnect the power and hang a warning sign to prevent misuse;
Adjust the cleaning frequency and agent type for different materials (e.g. milk powder that is easy to absorb moisture, salts that are easy to corrode);
Keep cleaning records for easy traceability of compliance (especially for export food companies that need to comply with HACCP, BRC, etc.).
Through the combination of “immediate cleaning + regular deep maintenance + intelligent technology assistance”, the hygienic state of the combination can be efficiently maintained, extending the equipment life and ensuring production safety.
